Frank V. Reeves, Sr. was born in Charlottesville, Virginia where he attended Lane High School. After graduation, he served 3 years of active duty in the US Army with tours abroad including Germany and Vietnam.  He was honorably discharged and continued his military duties in the US Army Reserves. After 21 years of service, he retired as Master Sargent.

Pastor Reeves gave his life to Christ as a young man. Under the leadership of Apostle Rufus Hayes, he held multiple positions in the church including deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, and Adult Sunday School Teacher.  He also served as District and Diocesan Sunday School Superintendent of the Bible Way Church Worldwide. 

In 1982, Pastor Reeves was ordained Elder and later served as an assistant to Bishop Rufus Hayes, Pastor of the Charlottesville Church of Christ.  In 1986, he was commissioned to Staunton, Virginia to serve as pastor of the Staunton Bible Way Community Church.  He served as pastor for 28 years.  In 1999, Pastor Reeves was consecrated District Elder of the Western District of Virginia.

Pastor Reeves has held many positions within International Bible Way (IBW) Church Worldwide.  He served two terms as 1st Vice Superintendent of the IBW Christian Education Department. He later became the Superintendent of the IBW Christian Education Department.

A huge believer in and proponent of lifelong learning, Pastor Reeves graduated from the Commercial Trade Institute of Chicago, Illinois and attended J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond, Virginia. He completed courses in Church Growth and Evangelism at Hampton University.  He also completed 16 courses through the Evangelical Training Association of Wheaton, Illinois and is certified to teach ETA courses at the Foundation, Standard, Advanced, and Leadership levels.

After 44 years of service, Pastor Reeves retired from the Covington Company in Richmond, Virginia where he served as Manager of Properties.

He is married to Marian Valentine Reeves. Their union has resulted in 5 sons: Frank Jr, Edgar, Harvey, Chris, and Derrick. They have 21 grandchildren, 1 great grand, and 1 Godchild (Lakeisha Hicks).

He proudly served as District Bishop of the International Bible Way Virginia Diocese Western District churches.  Bishop Reeves served as pastor of CCC March 2014 - April 2021.
